Proxified.se strives to be free for all, but now threatened the basic case when the loss of the project is too large which can lead to that either we will begin to request payment for service or that service is completely shut down. It's been a few months ago Proxified.se launched and initially updated much, but has now had a break in updates, but it has not meant that Proxified not used for now begins more and more and more people use the service regularly.

Since its inception, we have had over 13 000 page views and 1000 visitors, which means around 13 page views per visitor. The average visit time on the side is 10 minutes which is fantastic. Now that it has turned out so well for Proxified.se we have decided to change the file size to 40 MB and the download speed to 200 kb / s which you users can see like a little Christmas gift from us here at Proxified.se.

Today, work has been started again on a new feature that will come in the next version out Proxified. At first the work went forward very quickly, but then turned up problem after problem and now the headaches deposit.

The problems have to do with cookies, ignorance of the subject turns out really but it will work out with a few searches on the internet. The function in question should allow your users to select which shortcut keys you want to appear on both the front and in ramläget and it has become apparent that it was not as simple as we first thought us that it would be.

As you can see, the template itself almost completely clear, but the function is 95% disabled for the moment. Tomorrow, work and right now there is no estimated time when the function is finished. This feature and other changes will be available in the next major update out of hand, which have not received a date yet.

A few days ago discovered a bug that made it impossible to go to youtube and watch videos from the page. After a few hours work, we managed to solve the problem temporarily, that is to say that we probably have to expect that youtube will not work again.

Apart from youtube bug, there has been some other small changes

• Now the limit is set at 5mb/hit, meaning that for every page / file you want to see is the line at 5mb. If the file or page is larger than 5mb, you can not see the page or download the file.
• A few graphical changes have been made, no major changes but it is expected a major update in the coming weeks.

Today Proxified undergone some changes, however, they will first appear later in the day when everything is ready and it gets posted. The reason for the changes was that the page would run a little better and optimize more for Internet Explorer. However, we believe still that you should use Opera , Firefox or Chrome when you use the service.

Some more advertising addresses today has been blocked in the service, but still there are obviously a lot left.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Olof who helped us with an oh-so-important graphic thing today, he helped us namely to place the recent blog entries on the first page. Without his help, we know not what we had done so thanks once again.

Today, a filter installed in the service that filters out unnecessary advertising that makes the pages load slightly faster. It may still be some advertising but we are working on a complete solution.

What is Proxified.se?
A service to the limit trying to protect your anonymity on the internet as well as allowing you to visit blocked websites such as your school or your job. The service is free but there may be advertising.

What limitations are there?
Some pages have been blocked, and the full list can be found here , there's also a limit to how fast a page / file can be downloaded and the border is now at 45 kb / s and files larger than 2 MB can not be download.

Over time, solutions to these problems but for now prioritized other important aspects such as protection against various attacks. Of course, hope that someone will find the service good and that it will be frequently used.
